To combat residue, I don't just wet these washcloths, I actually rinse and squeeze several times when I run the water over them so that most of the soap rinses off. That also helps with the scent. Less soap = less scent.

My husband and I want to do cloth diapers for our 8 wk old son, but didn't really know where to start.
