These are great to use for the first wipedown for a baby with a poopy diaper - they take off a lot more poo than a simple wipe. I use one of these to get most of the goop off, and then follow up target areas with baby wipes.
There are two things I don't especially like about these wipes:
- they have too much soap in them and I worry about irritating residue
- the scent of the wipes is not pleasant
To combat residue, I don't just wet these washcloths, I actually rinse and squeeze several times when I run the water over them so that most of the soap rinses off. That also helps with the scent. Less soap = less scent.
