I bought these for my 3 year old, mostly potty trained daughter. She was reluctant to get rid of the pull ups and was still occasionally having accidents. She REFUSED to wear regular underpants. In my experience with my other 2 children, they were only able to get over that potty training hump by wearing underwear. I called these pants "washable pullups" and she decided to give them a try. It worked!! I can't attest to how well they hold accidents, because she hasn't had one yet! As far as the sizing goes, she is 37 lbs and has skinny legs.
