My son (5 1/2) saw a commercial for Underjams and had to try them. They work well, no leaking and no ripping. He feels like it's a step up from pull-ups which he wore when he was younger. One major plus is that they have very little odor after they are made use of. I just have my son throw out the underjams in the garbage can in the bathroom every day (we long ago gave away the diaper pail). On day two or three the pull-ups would really stink and it would remind me to throw them out properly. I accidentally went a week without even smelling the underjams, so I completely forgot to take them out (did take them out today!). I didn't notice any odor, and there were 7 underjams in the can. It does not have a tight lid, just a swing lid.
